Paws & Claws Animal Sanctuary

Tigers and bears do not make very good pets. Most people who purchase such animals really do have good intentions for the animals. The first few weeks are fine but then the animal starts to grow and become more of a problem than a pet. Most people dont have the time to dedicate to the care and needs of such an animal. After they have the animals for a couple of months then they realize what a mistake it was to bring this animal into thier home. Food bills on the rise vet care bills and the problem of finding a vet that knows how to treat the animal. Now the cute animal is half grown, it requires a bigger area it also needs much more food than it did a year ago. Most animals end up neglected, thier needs are put off, the cage area is too small and now your are affraid of the animal because of its size. Safety has become  big concern now for your children and friends and neighbors. You have spent all this money only to now realize you have to get rid of this animal. Now you have a new problem, where will this animal go?
